From the beginning, with the promise that Hawai‘i Volcanic would always benefit Hawai‘i and its people, we received the blessing of the late Uncle Ed Kaiwi, a respected kahuna (wise elder) and konohiki (steward of the land) of Anahola, Kaua‘i - to launch the project.
